"Friendship is not about whom you have known the longest. It's about who came, and never left your side.” Every year, we celebrate Friendship Day on the first Sunday of August. This year, it had been observed on August 6^th, but as that day was Sunday, so we celebrated it on Saturday, August 5^th, 2023. Various games, fun and rejoicing activities had been planned by Department of Computer Science. All of the activities have witnessed active student participation. The primary goal of this program was to boost the teacher-student relationship. Interaction of the students among them self was another objective of the program.

The first game was "Balloon game" in which all the students of BCA-I and BCA-II were involved and total four groups were formed with 6 members each. Each group was allotted a balloon. In this game, students had to blew balloons with their mouth. The team who keeps the balloon in air longer was a winning team.

In Second game, the student must form a stacked pyramid of at least 6 cups. This is achieved with the balloon in their mouth; whilst in their mouth they put the balloon in the cup and inflate the balloon to secure the cup. Then they move the cup over to their target place and put it on the table by deflating the balloon.

The next activity was making of a Friendship Band. We're looking for craft lovers and aspiring artists to exhibit their skills by creating the most extraordinary and endearing friendship bands. This is all about celebrating the spirit of friendship through artistry. Creating small cards describing "What is friendship?" was the next task. It was a creative and enjoyable activity.

All of the attendees praised the program and had a great time together. The faculty members of the computer department worked together to plan this event, which was greatly aided by their efforts. The culmination of the program was marked by a heartfelt expression of gratitude extended by the Head of the Department, Mrs. Pooja Rathi. Her words resonated with the sentiment of appreciation for the active involvement and enthusiasm displayed by all participants and teacher.
